ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to add a Project Manager with adaptive re-use, creative interiors and/or mixed-use ground up experience to our team. Our Project Managers are the backbone of our office and financial operations, and key to healthy Owner and Design Team relationships. Always keeping the goals of our clients front and center, our Project Managers provide pre-construction assistance, subcontract administration, change management, and oversee project financials.

What you’ll do:

  • Champion overall project success, including profitability, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction

  • Responsible for job cost accounting and financial sustainability of their projects

  • Preconstruction leadership on potential or negotiated projects

  • Lead OAC meetings, bringing insight into project challenges as well as ideas for improvement

  • Develop strong relationships with the client, architect, and subcontractors to ensure open communication and trust

  • Real-time problem solving finding creative solutions, coordinating trades, and ensuring project quality

  • Work cross-functionally with Superintendents to ensure the team remains in lock step throughout the project

  • Lead, support and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion across our internal and external project teams

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Building Construction/Civil Engineering/Architecture strongly preferred

  • 5-7 years of commercial construction experience; adaptive reuse, mixed-use and creative interiors portfolio preferred

  • Experience across all phases of a project lifecycle, including strong background in estimating and bid execution

  • Adaptive reuse, mixed-use or creative interiors portfolio preferred

Competencies:

  • Strong computer skills; experience with Procore and scheduling platforms a plus

  • Ability to thrive in a team and entrepreneurial environment

  • Motivated self-starter with a high level of personal integrity

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Must be proactive and deadline-oriented

  • Strong attention to details

  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the company

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

This is a in-person position at the company office near Decatur, Monday-Friday, with occasional days on jobsite or working remotely.
