Project Coordinator (Full-Time)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking to add a Project Coordinator with construction industry experience to our team. The Project Coordinator will support our project teams by managing administrative tasks, documentation, and communication throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures smooth coordination between field and office operations, maintains organized project records, and tackles various ad-hoc duties.
What you’ll do:
Project Support
Review and track monthly subcontractor and owner pay applications, as well as required supplementary documentation.
Maintain and organize project files, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and close-out documents.
Process subcontractor and vendor contracts, purchase orders, and insurance documents.
Contract drawing management (printing, saving, labeling, etc.).
Handle job site administrative duties as needed.
Office Management
First touchpoint of callers and visitors to the Peter Constructive office.
General daily responsibilities, including receiving and distributing mail, maintaining office machines and supplies and coordinating all operational vendors.
Support onboarding processes for new employees.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years of administrative experience in construction or a related field.
Familiarity with construction project workflows, terminology, and documentation.
Competencies:
Strong computer skills; experience with Procore and scheduling platforms a plus
Ability to thrive in a team and entrepreneurial environment
Motivated self-starter with a high level of personal integrity
Strong written and oral communication skills
Must be proactive and deadline-oriented, while managing multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the company

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This is a in-person position at the company office near Decatur, Monday-Friday, with occasional days on jobsite or working remotely.
